Miss Dot exploring how primary colours can make new colours with our Primary Mix Up.

Please read below on how you can recreate this activity.

You will need:

  • Red, blue & yellow paint
  • 3 jumbo zip lock bags
  • Painters tape

How to:

1. Squeeze paints into ziplock bags

Red + blue = Purple
Blue + yellow = Green
Red + yellow = Orange

2. Seal ziplock bags
3.Tape to window with painters tape
4.Smoosh & enjoy

  • Speech discussing colours and the process

Suitable for:
8 months + even if your child is unable to communicate the process they will still enjoy the sensory element of this activity. And you can always discuss with them what they are doing and what is happening.
